This module will introduce the reader to a range of methods that are available for assessment of Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes. As well as describing these instruments and showing how they may be used effectively the module will look at key issues relating to validity and reliability. At the end of this module you should be able to choose an appropriate assessment method which takes account of what it is your students are expected to have learnt and also why they have learned it.
