What is happening?

The PG Moodle website will be offline for scheduled maintenance on two separate days in February and March. Users will not have access to PG Moodle for 4 hours on both days while this maintenance is carried out.

Why is this happening?

This is to ensure that PG Moodle remains stable and secure.

When is this happening?

The scheduled maintenance will happen on the dates and times noted below:

  • Monday 14 February 2022, 9am to 1pm (UK time)
  • Wednesday 9 March 2022, 1pm to 5pm (UK time)

All times are given in UK time. You can use the following website to convert this into the time at your location: timeanddate.com - Time Zone Converter

What is the impact?

Users will not have access to PG Moodle for a brief time during the maintenance periods. This will not affect any other services, such as reading lists.

We do not expect any problems once PG Moodle is back online, however any maintenance comes with a risk of unexpected issues. Please be patient if this happens, we will be working to ensure it causes as little disruption as possible.

What should I do?

If you will need access to anything from PG Moodle during this period, then you can prepare for this before the site is taken offline:

  • If you will need course materials, you can export the relevant Moodle books to a Microsoft Word or PDF file. For instructions, please see the PG Moodle Guide Book which is available in Technical Support – Students.
  • If you have not already done so, you can download and save the feedback related to your latest submission. Information on how to do this as available in the Turnitin and Feedback Studio Guide which is in Technical Support – Students.
